I'm Lauren Farris, the founder of the Healthy Voice Academy.
At the Healthy Voice Academy, we are passionate about something we think should be talked about more: healthy vocal technique! We are determined to help as many students and teachers as possible to develop healthy voices - for themselves AND their students. Unhealthy vocal habits are all around us: on TV, on the radio, and unfortunately, in many music classrooms. Our founder, Lauren Farris, is a vocal coach with over 20 years of experience, specializing in the prevention and recovery of vocal damage due to unhealthy vocal technique. Lauren's goal is to help prevent vocal damage from happening in schools, studios, and beyond! You only get one voice - it's time to learn how to take better care of it.

Summer 2025 Workshops
1) Vocal Healthy, Anatomy, &
Technique 101
Designed for college students, current/future voice teachers, choral singers, and anybody interested in learning more about the voice, how it works, how to keep it healthy, and how to troubleshoot vocal technique issues. Age: 18+. Fee: $175
2) Musical Theatre Audition Prep
Designed for high school students and under, this workshop will help the student prepare for musical theatre auditions for their schools and/or community groups. They will come away with suggested songs to sing, practice resources, and audition tips/tricks! There *may* be a special guest! Age: <18. Fee: $175
